Ricetto of Candelo
The Ricetto of Candelo, a medieval construction in Candelo, Piedmont, is a in-city protected fortified structure where the local nobleman and the population used to store goods and where, occasionally, the inhabitants found shelter in case of attacks from outside. The Ricetto of Candelo is one of the best preserved examples of this type of medieval structure existing in Piedmont and in central Europe.
