The Elvo valley

The Elvo valley is a valley in the province of Biella located between the province of Turin and the Valle d’Aosta; it is the watershed between the Biella area and the Canavese area and develops along the course of the Elvo stream, in the western part of the provincial territory, at the foot of the Biella Alps and the peaks of Mount Bechit, Mars, Rosso and Mucrone.

There are numerous Christian churches, the most famous is the Marian shrine of Graglia, dating back to the 17th century.
